    Drove by this place since the last time that I saw that they had been closed by the Health Dept. The front door was open and a new LED type "Open" sign was on the door.
    I haven't stopped by to eat yet. Hope to within the month to find out what happened and make sure that it is still under the same ownership.
    I'm leaving a 5 star from the great food that I had in the past from this place. I hope it still is just as good.
    I'll update once I've had a chance to stop by and have lunch.

    Came here with the confidence of yelp reviews and we began feeling regret as soon as we sat down.

    Seriously heavy smoke in the restaurant, to the point it was hard to breathe. The cook is the waiter, which meant it took ages from the time we ordered until we had our main dishes.

    Nobody would describe this place as clean, which would be easy to overlook if not fir the plume of smoke.

    As for the food:

    Spring rolls were okay, but parts were blackened from being over cooked.

    We ordered water, but it never came.

    Fried rice: authentic if you use a fraction of the ingredients other Thai chefs do. Think Thai food in rural Russia in March.

    Pad Thai: not a single vegetable in it, not even an onion. Thick sauce. No chopsticks.  

    Penang curry: inedibly salty. Came w rice,which was good, best part of the meal.

    Men's bathroom door didn't lock properly.

    All said, the only time I've been seriously let down by yelp.

    This place is dirty and just CRAP!!! The same old man refused to return money after rancid to go order and IS NASTY sss the taste I took  HE is go ahead if that's what you WANT TO BE??? Take ANTIBIOTICS with you and mace in case....steer clear so many bettter places now in the desert to eat that wont give you some random international disease.....old draft review I wasn't gonna put but wrote for a reason then....

    Love the food , the old man was very sweet and humble,   sitting/dinner area could use some cleaning, but overall the food and service was good. Humble mom and pop shop. Cash Only!

    I love this place,  the elderly gentleman is so nice and makes you feel comfortable as if you were family. The food is delicious and inexpensive, it's all homemade so sometimes you have to wait a little longer but totally worth it.
    I definitely will keep coming back for years to come
